Good William Gargan & Ann Savage Movie
A pleasant cast, headed by William Gargan, Ann Savage and Leo Gorcey make this an enjoyable movie. The plot progresses nicely to a satisfactory conclusion. A very good low budget film

Sound Problems
The 256kb file has sound so choppy that all of my players throw up and quit trying to play it. Is it me or can someone try to reload? From the first few minutes it seems like this might be an enjoyable B flick, and of course it has Zucco playing (like Walken) himself. Thanks.

Ok.
This movie is "ok". It can more or less serve as a timekiller. If we could give half starts, I'd have given it 2.5 starts.

Enjoy!
This is an enjoyable, short crime comedy. George Zucco plays the heavy with the rest of the cast providing the laughs. There is no mystery; there are no gangsters. There's just a game of body, body, who's got the body.
I downloaded the mpeg2 file. I had tried the 767MB mpeg4 file here first, but the crackling sound in the audio, reminiscent of water spilling from a gutter onto concrete, was very annoying. Both files appear to have the same source based on the video, which was made from a worn out print.

Leo Gorcey Scores Again
An exciting mystery-comedy, with Leo Gorcey at his best. It's in good old black and white, increasing the intensity of each scene. A movie to be treasured.

B movie
"B" does not have to be for "Bad" and this movie isn't bad. In fact it's okay. You should watch it.

Nothing but entertainment:
Rival reporters, policemen, a gangster and various oddballs chase around after a corpse which repeatedly gets found only to be lost again.
A lively cast and brilliantly fast-paced direction make this utterly OTT nonsense a very enjoyable film. Sit back and enjoy.

1940's Comedy - Mystery Gem
This film is from the Pine-Thomas "B" Unit for Paramount Pictures release. Pine-Thomas was known for quality "B" pictures. A a-mile-a- minute romp with a lot of quick snappy dialogue, with pin-point casting. Ann Savage plays the funny, tough-talking bitch to the hilt. Leo Gorcey has a lot of sharp lines as well as pretty much playing his "wise guy" character without the "Boys". William Gargan, a very likeable leading man in "B"'s is glib and fast and loose here. George Zucco plays George Zucco very well. George E. Stone a gifted comedic actor has a nothing role as the corpse. The rest of the cast is peppered with superb, albeit familiar character actors with a deft touch touch for comedy. Production values are Paramount quality all the way. This is a very good TV print. Enjoy.
